Chicago Cubs Lineup (9/19/25): Hoerner Leads Off, Turner DH, Slamtana 1B, Imanaga Starting
I take a lot of pride in these lineup posts, but I am exhausted and travel-weary, so I’m punting on this one. It probably would have been best to just not put out the effort at all, but I had the basics already done from an administrative point of view. The Cubs don’t need this win nearly as much as I need an ice bath and a nap. Maybe a glass of bourbon as well.
Craigh Counsell is going with his lefty-facing lineup against Cincy’s Nick Lodolo, which means a lot of you aren’t going to like who’s in there. Surely they can do better than last night, though. Here’s to more thorough breakdowns moving forward.
Night two in Cincinnati.
