Dansby Swanson has already won two Gold Glove Awards in his career and is ready to fight for a third. Swanson made a fantastic backhand throw on Saturday against the Mariners, helping Matthew Boyd finish off the first inning.

The veteran shortstop posted a +18 outs above average in 2024, tied for second in all of baseball. Pairing Swanson and Nico Hoerner up the middle gives the Cubs one of the best up-the-middle defenses in baseball. Pete Crow-Armstrong in center field is the icing on the cake.
