Chicago Cubs Lineup (3/5/24): Mastrobuoni Leads Off, Cooper at 1B, Kilian Starting
The Cubs are playing their first night game of the spring, but being on the road means there are no regulars in the lineup. With apologies to those who actually look forward to these lineup posts, I’ve got about 5 minutes to spare due to extenuating circumstances.
Miles Mastrobuoni is leading off at second, followed by Garrett Cooper at first and Michael Busch as the DH. Alexander Canario is in right, Matt Shaw gets another start at third, Pete Crow-Armstrong is in center, and Kevin Alcántara is in left. Joe Hudson is the catcher, Luis Vázquez is at short, and Caleb Kilian is pitching.
First pitch from Surprise is at 7:05pm CT on Marquee Sports Network
