Chicago Cubs Lineup (6/27/23): Hoerner Leads Off, Mancini DH, Taillon Starting
Hey folks, I’m just going to let you know right off the jump that I didn’t have time to research anything about the game. I just hope the Cubs were able to adjust to the rapid shift back to Central time, though I suspect a chartered flight helps with that. Tonight’s return to Wrigley features Jameson Taillon against Ranger Suárez, who the Cubs beat up pretty well a few weeks ago. More of the same might be needed since Taillon still isn’t at the point where you feel confident when he takes the mound.
The lineup is posted below in the tweet, sorry I don’t have more for you. All I will say is that it’s good Trey Mancini is just the DH. I do wish Jared Young would have gotten a starting nod, though my guess is he’ll enter at some point. Provided the air quality doesn’t force a postponement, first pitch is set for 7:05pm CT on Marquee and 670 The Score.
Here is tonight's #Cubs starting lineup at Wrigley Field!
