Cubs Roster News: Alec Mills Starts Friday, Chatwood to DL, Maples Called Up
In keeping with the Cubs’ trend of late, we have more roster shuffling and injury news for you. First, Alec Mills has been named the starter for Friday’s game against the Reds, so you can remove TBD from you list of probables. Last Saturday’s starter, Tyler Chatwood, has been added to the disabled list with hip inflammation. Taking his place is Dillon Maples, who gets another shot with the big league club.
