Jorge Soler Injury Update: MRI Results are in, Everything Should be Ok
Jorge Soler sustained an injury to his right side during the Cubs’ game on Friday against the Milwaukee Brewers. He left the game prior to the top of the fourth inning with what was labeled as right side tightness. There’s been no indication of when he may have sustained the injury.
Today the results of an MRI were revealed and it’s good news. There appears to be ‘nothing bad’ (per Carrie Muskat) and he should be back in the lineup within a few days. Definitely good news for Jorge and the Cubs. Jorge has been tearing it up since he was activated off the disabled list on August 5. He’s slashing .275/.356/.549 with 7 home runs in 104 plate appearances.
#Cubs Soler had an MRI on his right side. There’s nothing bad, and will treat it as day to day
