Chicago Cubs Lineup: Cubs Open Home Stand with First Game Against the Brewers
After a day off that felt like an eternity, the Cubs are back at Wrigley Field tonight for the first game of a six game home stand, and three game series, against the Milwaukee Brewers.
Kyle Hendricks will take the mound for the Cubs tonight and he’s looking to get back on track after becoming the first Cubs’ pitcher of the 2016 season to not go at least six innings in his last outing against the Cardinals. That outing was the final game in the Cardinals series and the only game the Cubs lost in that series.
Dexter Fowler is back in the lineup, as is Ben Zobrist, after they both had off for Sunday’s game in Cincinnati. Jorge Soler is also in the lineup tonight. Hopefully he’ll be able to start playing better on the offensive side of things. If he doesn’t, and we pondered what Joe may choose to do, he may end up seeing more bench time than playing time, particularly with there being so many options in left, like playing Bryant there more.
Here’s today’s lineup:

1. Dexter Fowler (S) CF
2. Jason Heyward (L) RF
3. Kris Bryant (R) 3B
4. Anthony Rizzo (L) 1B
5. Ben Zobrist (S) 2B
