Cubs Announce NLDS Roster, Brown Replaces Rogers
No big surprises here, as this is nearly the same roster they carried for the Wild Card series. The exception is Ben Brown for lefty Taylor Rogers. I suppose some folks might have been holding out hope for Cade Horton‘s inclusion, but that was never going to happen. He’s not eligible to come off the IL until Game 5, and you can’t waste a spot on the staff for four games. In the event that he happens to be healthy enough to pitch by then, which is highly doubtful, someone else can surely come down with a timely injury.
