Shōta Imanaga Honors Ryne Sandberg on Unique Topps Trading Card
Shōta Imanaga endeared himself to Cubs fans right from the jump, singing “Go Cubs Go” to open his introductory press conference just before the start of Cubs Convention in 2024. His personality and performance have made him a national treasure, and he has shown several times now that he’s got his finger on the fans’ collective pulse.
Take his contribution to his Topps Certified Autograph Issue trading card. In addition to his name in Japanese, he scrawled, “Miss you Ryno” in English.

I’m not much of a card collector these days and wouldn’t be able to afford this unless I pulled it from one of the packs I purchase very infrequently, but I sure would love to have this. So would a whole lot of other people, I’d wager. Good luck finding this one-of-one gem.
